I would like you to put at least a small contest comment in ‘No Comment’ section of your tv broadcasting. Sometimes I do not have any idea what it is about.
Also my testimony against ‘live’ events – e.g. meeting between Sarkozy and Merkel’s press conference etc. I suppose we all want just the briefing.

Your misuse of the English Language is horrendous! “South Africa are hosting …” no, “South Africa is hosting …” “.... that was eliminated”, not “... who was eliminated”, unless the elimination had to do with a person, rather than a team. If a team was eliminated, then “that” team was eliminated, not “who”! Far too much misuse of “which” instead of “that”. Please, get your language usage correct, because we do not presume to use your languages incorrectly.

Thank you for your coverage of the unrest in Iran and please continue doing so. Please increase your relays on your news channel since a huge wave of noises are being dropped on our satellite channels in Iran.

I wanted to tell, that your channel has not delivered the full information about all the reductions in social sphere here in Latvia.
You haven’t told the working pensioners pension will be reducted by 70%. I think this is the worst of all reductions.
Also i heard on your channel, that average pension in Latvia is 260 euro. Sorry but in my small city (4000 people) most of the pensioners pensions are from 175 to 230 Euro… Some pensions are even less. Could you comment this facts, and could you at least tell about the 70% reduction of working pensioners pensions?

Hello, euronews. My name is Ioan and I am both romanian and european citizen of romanian nationality. Of course I live and work in Romania, but I frequently peep into EU with your help as well. The 15:00 hours CET News today(17th of June 2009) intrigued and provoked me to write this message. At the end of the show there was a news about some romanian citizens of gipsy ethnicity that had trouble in Ireland due to racist mouvements. They are a really troubled minority everywhere in Europe. Back in Romania the social servicies help them survive, but the dream of rapid wealth gains makes them travel a lot. The rate of criminality is high among them. My problem with this news is that when such an important media as euronews states that a “group of romanians” has trouble and shows in fact a minority that lives in Central Europe, any viewer may associate the wrong image to the romanian nation which lives as part of EU. This is bad for traveling, for businesses and mainly for cultural relations. In deed, Romania has not such a good image inside EU, but this does not mean it`s naturaly to make it worse. My statement may look racist but it`s not; with your help and understanding you can prevent racist behavior against romanians by other nations of EU.Thank you!

Dear viewer The story was about a racist attack on a group of people from another country. Their ethnicity and nationality was not the point. It would have made no material difference to the news if the victims were from any other country.

    Hy,

I have seen in the news that some “Romanians” were subjected to racist attacks in Ireland.
Well, these people aren’t Romanian at all. They are gypsies from Romania.
As a Romanian, I don’t like such mistakes and I hope they will never be repeated in the future on euronews

    As above
“Dear viewer The story was about a racist attack on a group of people from another country. Their ethnicity and nationality was not the point. It would have made no material difference to the news if the victims were from any other country.

euronews provides great news coverage and is my favourite site to get my “world updates” from.

It is only a pity that these “finnair” advertisements have to be aired every other time you choose a news-piece to watch. I understand there might be need for these advertisements, although I remember that a while back there were no such pre-advertisements.
Any possibility to go back to the old way?

Thank you for an otherwise great site!

please show Iranian people protest ; unfortunately you are supporting Ahmadinejad and his minority supporters but covering their news(they enjoy government media coverage) ; please support Iranians for Freedom.

What does “unassailable” mean. Your ticker could be a little simpler regarding the Iranian election, and yes I am educated and a former journalist. And I don’t even know what that word means I had to look it up!

There is one piece of information that euronews did not disclose and that I found on the Wikipedia’s website:
“AMD’s main microprocessor manufacturing and design facilities are located in Dresden, Germany”, Since Intel and AMD are both American companies I was surprised that the European Competition Commissioner has tried to bring evidence against Intel for so long. I do not think it was only for the benefit of European consumers.
