The vice president of the ECB is from Greece, there was an interview on euronews with that person who advocated to put more money into Greece. I missed the question of the interviewer to the VP, that since he is in a power position and Greece is falling apart; should he actually be there as the credibility of the ECB is at stake and is his policy not biased? Can we have more of an indepth interview or more outlining of objective cause and effect in reporting?
A worried European.

The past 10 year’s i have been a viewer of euronews.
I think euronews has lost the common interest of why its euronews.
All I see as a viewer is middle eastern news or turkish news??
I understand that euronews is owned by ERTT ENTV ERTU TRT SNRT and a less few other news station’s around europe.
Does Serge Tchuruk have a influence in what is broadcasted on euronews?
I have asked this question to euronews before and no reply.
Why is euronews more of a news channel for north africa and middle east then europe it’s self.
It would be great to get feedback because i wrote to feedback thank you.

Dear viewer,
Developments in the Arab world this year have inevitably led to extensive coverage on euronews and other international news channels. But that hasn’t diminished our reporting of European affairs. In fact, with the opening of our new Brussels bureau and the creation of programmes such as The Network, I-talk and U-talk, our coverage of events in Europe has substantially increased. Will you tell the graphics designer who ruined the Rendezvous segment with those outdated, over-long underlines that they defeat the purpose? Yes, he/she is able to ruin our view of the world’s great masterpieces because we have to look at those egregious underlines; no, they don’t facilitate getting information about the events. All they show is that someone didn’t do a good audience analysis: many of us will never be able to visit the exhibits (I live in S. Korea), but I always enjoyed a few moments of relaxation looking at these great masterpieces. Now—all I see are lines ruining a composition. Shame!

Dear euronews, I’m a polish viewer, I really like watch it becouse of brief looking for the worlds news as well as market view. It is realy good job, but from few days I realized polish translation (I’m not sure if it is from your side or a provider). Please if you could leave it english. It is good to have contact with live language for learning matters. Here in Poland is a lot news chanels to choose from in polish language. I don’t wish more. I appreciate watching euronews for its quality and interestning way of showing it.

Dear viewer
We are currently operating a Polish service in tandem with our other language services, though it is not 24/7. Depending on your local service provider you should still be able to access English, if that is your preference. Head of English Service.

Dear euronews, your bulletin today on World Youth Day says that “The Vatican has said that anyone attending the event who confesses to having had an abortion will be welcomed back into the Church. Abortion is normally a sin punished by excommunication”
The Catholic Church always welcomes back anyone who has had an abortion if they are repentant and obtain absolution from the local bishop. A person who has an abortion excommunicates themself automatically but can come back into communion with the church by going to confession. The Vatican simply has confered this faculty from the bishops to the priests. Your bulletin implys that anyone who has an abortion is cut off from the Catholic Church forever and the Vatican has just decided to change what it believes overnight. I feel this highlights a lack of understanding of the Catholic Church, its beliefs and doctrine, which is endemic in todays’ media. Please see the Cathecism of the Catholic Church paragraph 2272.

Hi there, euronews
For a few days “Romtelecom DolceTv” is no longer providing us, customers, with euro-news. Should they? I mean, for at least 5 years I’ve been watching you. Why not now and from now on?
I sent an e-mail to Romtelecom on the matter but their answer was not on this subject! As usual!
Thank you,
Calin NICULAE

Dear euronews personnel,
first i would like to say that i like very much the idea of an european multilingual high quality news channel. I think this can give a great contribution to build our future united Europe in peace.
I would like to emphasize also, that i admire very much the PURISTIC STYLE of euronews.
Now, a bit of critique:
What happened to the interview with the Iranian president on the youtube channel? There is the original version with Jon speaking english and Mahmud speaking Farsi. That is of course a good idea, because then we have the original version and this is of course important.
But in addition we would like to have also the version with the english translation on youtube for the majority of us, who lack Parsi language skills. And preferably over the whole length of 31 min, not the shorter version which aired on euronews.
Also, i don’t like at all your attitude of posting so many SHORT videos on the youtube channel. I personally convert the flv.-files to mp3 and listen as podcast and i am interested in long videos.
But the most important thing is this one:
We need garantuees that euronews is objective and fair. No tricks with mistranslation and no tricks with cutting of. Cutting of is fine, but the message should not be diverted for political reasons.
I am a bit suspicious with your last interview with Iranian president.
All the best
Alessandro

Dear viewer The interview was broadcast live and translated simultaneously. What you saw on YouTube was a rebroadcast of the off-air recording. On our website euronews.net you can see the full interview with a transcription of the president’s answers in the accompanying text. You can rest assured it’s an unedited, accurate translation of what was said and was verified by our own Persian journalists. You can find the full interview under the ‘Interview’ section towards the bottom of the front page.
