The winner of the Audience Award at this year’s Sundance Festival, The Wackness is set in 1994 New York – just before Rudy Giuliani’s clean-up measures began to bite. Luke – played by Josh Peck – is a teenage dope dealer. He pays Ben Kingsley – his psychiatrist and another lost soul – in marijuana and the two begin to explore both New York and their own depression together.
