Monday – 02/11 · Dublin, Ireland Ryanair 2Q results

On Monday Ryanair will publish its 2nd fiscal quarterly results. The low-cost leader is expected to show an increase in traffic numbers, after opening up new flight routes. Ryanair sees full-year net profit at the lower end of a range of EUR200 million to EUR300 million.

Tuesday – 03/11 · Brussels, Belgium Eurozone growth forecasts

The European Commision will publish on Tuesday its growth forecasts for the quarters ahead. With economic sentiment improving in most countries, Brussels is betting on a slow recovery by early 2010 but still more unemployment in the 16 countries that use the euro.

Wednesday – 04/11 · New York City, USA Time Warner 3Q results

America’s Time Warner is releasing on Wednesday its 3rd quarter results. The publishing branch that includes Time magazine and other brands has suffered several quarters of losses due to the increasing competition of the Internet.

Thursday – 05/11 · Frankfurt, Germany ECB interest rates

The European Central Bank monetary council is meeting on Thursday to decide on interest rates. Analyst expects the main rate to stay at a record low of 1%, as inflation is down and recovery is not robust enough.

Friday – 06/11 · Washington, USA US unemployment

On Friday Washington is publishing its unemployment figures for October. Even if the US economy grew 3.5% in the third quarter, American companies continue to cut jobs. Economic projections put the US unemployment rate at just below 10%.
