As the last opposition radio station in Budapest loses its licence, many fear the country is slipping from a liberal, to an authoritarian state. The finger of blame is pointed firmly at one man, Prime Minister Viktor Orban.
Some journalists are taking their protests to the extreme, going on hunger strike over censorship, while members of the civil rights movement are voicing concerns over state interference in the judicial system. So are Hungary’s basic values of democracy under threat?
