BA and Iberia set to flex their muscle

British Airways and Iberia, who will have fully merged by the end of this year when they will become the International Airlines Group, are already greedily eyeing up two potential airlines to gobble up.

It is a hit list whittled down from 40 tasty targets, but BA boss Willie Walsh, speaking in Mumbai, said not all will be taken over. They include budget airlines and emerging market carriers.
