Fly-by-wire gaining ground in the air A hijack drama abord a Russian passenger plane has ended safely after a daring intervention by elite troops.
According to authorities a 40-year-old man took control of a domestic flight to Moscow’s Domodevo airport from the Caucausus.
All 107 people on board were freed safely after special forces disguised as doctors boarded the plane.
The man had reportedly demanded a meeting with the media and law enforcement agencies. It remains unclear whether he was armed.
