The Montreux Jazz Festival was once again an eclectic mix of all kinds of music including rock, pop, and hip-hop as well every shade of jazz possible.

Phil Collins was there performing all his favourite 60s Motown tracks.

World Music was also celebrated – there was a concert in hommage to Miriam Makeba – Mama Africa – who died in 2008. The evening was rounded off by a set from Youssou N’Dour.

French trio Revolver were also delighted to find themselves playing Montreux.
