Set in Monte Carlo, Heartbreakers stars Vanessa Paradis as a woman in love with a man her father hates. So far, so funny. The comedy enters the scene with a trio hired by the father to break up the true lurve match.
It sounds icky but isn’t as bad in the flesh as you might imagine. The action is slick, the gags are mostly ditto… and of course the scenery is fabulous. Just take an extra-large tub of popcorn in, lie back, and think of Monte Carlo…
