The Taliban has said it was behind a series of suicide attacks in the Southern Afghan city of Kandahar, describing it as a message to NATO commanders planning a major operation there.
The militant group said on its website that it had “carried out four bombings inside the heart of Kandahar and had inflicted heavy casualties.”
