Tucked away in a box as junk, the owner of a mysterious stone never knew what secrets it held.

Intrigued by what it could be, Jean Jacques Corre took it to the University of Nantes to be examined.

In an extrodinary revelation, the old stone turned out to be a rare meteorite 4.5 billion years old.

Weighing one and a half kilograms, scientists are now working on a tiny slice of the rock in order to gain valuable insights into the history of the universe.
