British Airways to buy BMI 
EasyJet hit by fuel price rise British Airways posted an unexpected operating profit of 28 million euros for the final three months of last year.
The UK flag-carrier credited heavy cost cutting, with operating costs down by 10.5 percent, but said it was still in a worse position than last year.
It carried seven percent fewer passengers in January year-on-year, but the number of business class passengers fell just 2.1 percent.
