A British racing car, made from vegetables and powered by chocolate is due to take part in a prestigious green-conference at MIT in Boston in March.

After launching the vehicle last year, researchers at the University of Warwick have been developing their ground-breaking work still further.

They claim it is the first Formula 3 racing car made from a whole range of green technologies. This car is steered by carrots, it has potato bodywork, soyabean seats and brakes derived from cashew nuts.
