Ancient eco air-conditioning in Iran

Centuries before air conditioning architects in Iran came up with an effective cooling system. In the ancient desert city of Yazd in the centre of the country they developed wind towers to tame the searing temperatures. The temperature difference between the interior and exterior of a building causes pressure variations which makes the air flow.
