Scientists believe global warming is putting birds in Lithuania into a quandry. They say the unusual weather conditions caused by climate change are upsetting the birds’ migration patterns.

Confused by the unseasonally mild winters in recent years, many birds have decided not to leave for warmer climes. But this year conditions have been the coldest in two decades.

And that has brought an unwelcome shock for the thousands that stayed.
