Regular exercise has for many hears been linked with good health. It is widely thought by scientists to prevent and treat diseases like type-2 diabetes, obesity, depression, dementia and even some cancers. But little is known about how exercise really affects human metabolism -at molecular and genetic levels. Now EU researchers are trying to understand how and why exercise is key to a longer, healthier life. And they have some good news for us.
