French Q3 GDP grows

The French economy grew by 0.3 percent in the third quarter of this year lifted by strong exports.

The latest data from statistics office INSEE confirmed preliminary growth figures issued last month for the euro zone’s second largest economy.

Exports were up 1.7 percent compared with the same period last year.

But domestic demand, a key component, was stagnant.
