Veolia eyes French train service

Veolia is reportedly talking to the Italian train operator Trenitalia about cooperating on running high-speed train services in France when new market liberalisation rules come into effect in Europe in 2012.

According to Le Figaro newspaper, Veolia, which provides environmental management services as well as transport, could focus on routes between Paris and the cities of Brussels, Strasbourg and London.
