Expressing frustration over an apparent failure to reach a deal he said Brazil was ready to make sacrifices and help – financially – countries most vulnerable to climate change.

“I’d love to get out of here having signed the most perfect document in the world. If we haven’t drafted such a document so far, I don’t know if an angel, or a wiseman will descend in the plenary session and place in our heads the intelligence we have been lacking up until now”.
