Deutsche Bank may buy RBS Sempra

Deutsche Bank is reportedly interested in bidding for commodities trading company RBS Sempra and a source said talks were already underway.

Deutsche Bank would not comment, but it has been actively expanding its involvement in commodities.

Part-nationalised RBS is being forced to sell its 51 percent interest in RBS Sempra by European competition regulators because of bailouts it’s received from the British government.
