Berlusconi gets more hits on the web

No major news story is now complete without its web dimension, and the Berlusconi assault is no exception.

Massimo Tartaglia now has 60,000 Facebook fans, while others call for the death penalty for the psychologically disturbed attacker.

That in turn has sparked a “Support Silvio Berlusconi against Tartaglia” site that has garnered nearly 400,000 fans…except that in reality it is an old site called “support products made in Italy” that has been hijacked and renamed.

And of course the incident has sparked a rash of computer minigames, one of which involves trying to hit the Italian prime minister with statues of Milan’s cathedral.
