Swift Saab sale decision urged

The head of Sweden’s Enterprise Ministry has reportedly told General Motors that it needs to decide this week whether to sell its loss-making Saab division.

In an newspaper interview, State secretary Joran Hagglund, said otherwise GM will run out of time to negotiate a sale with a potential buyer as well as the European Investment Office and the Swedish debt office.

Dutch sports car maker Spyker and China’s BAIC are interested in Saab.
