Consumers lead Swedish recovery

Sweden’s consumers are heading back to the shops balancing weaker than expected GDP figures for the third quarter.

GDP grew quarter-on-quarter by 0.2 percent, less than analysts expected, but retail sales jumped 1.5 percent in October. The GDP performance is being put down to inventory shrinkage, so that makes production outlooks rosier as firms restock.More about:
