At least 11 people have been killed in two separate bomb blasts in Pakistan.

As many as eight lost their lives after a suicide car bomber destroyed Pakistan’s intelligence agency in Peshawar. Gun shots were heard as the attacker tried to get closer to his intended target in a government complex. The three storey building was completely destroyed and the authorities fear victims may be trapped in the rubble. In another act of violence, three police officers are believed dead following an explosion at a police station in Bannu. Militants have launched a number of strikes in the north west of the country since the Pakistan army began an offensive against Taliban positions last month.More about: , ,
