The Swiss bank UBS has posted a 373 million loss in the third quarter. Shares in the company fell four percent as the bank said it did not expect a recovery of client inflows anytime soon. The results come after a bitter row over tax with the US, but observers point out that the bank’s underlying performance has actually been improving.
