When the Berlin Wall fell: Sebastian Saam, euronews
02/11 11:37 CET
“I come from Passau in Lower Bavaria, a town which lots of refugees fled to because it was the first town after the frontier coming from Hungary.
Many refugees were housed in the local gym.
My parents lodged three of them in our house for six weeks .
When the Wall fell we watched the news together.
It was very interesting for us with our Western perspective, because we had the news from the Western television and at the same time the experience of those from the East.”
