The former leaders of the United States, the Soviet Union and West Germany, at the time of the fall of the Berlin Wall, have come together to celebrate and share memories.
 
George Bush now aged 85, the 78-year-old Mikhail Gorbachev and Helmut Kohl 79, took to the  stage and spoke about the past and its impact on the future.
 
George Bush praised the courage of Mikhail Gobachev, who was under extreme pressure as the Soviet empire began to crumble.
 
He said that Helmut Kohl was a rock and all three men commented on the trust that they built together then still exists today.
 
The tribute organised by the Konrad Adenauer Foundation went under the title of the “The Fall of the Wall and Reunification-the Victory of Freedom.“
