French drugmaker Sanofi-Aventis has swine flu to thank for an improved outlook for 2009. The group said it expected H1N1 vaccines to add around 337 million euros to sales in the fourth quarter alone and sees that continuing into next year. Its earnings per share for the quarter just gone increased over 16 percent on the back of cost cutting measures.
