At the Q Awards in London, there was the usual rock n roll confusion. Kasabian weren’t sure what Award they’d just won. Lily Allen just about managed to hold it together and keep hold of her pint. But Amy Winehouse arrived on stage to introduce The Specials AFTER they’d already accepted their Award and were half way through giving their acceptance speech. Spandau Ballet, meantime, eemed quite bowled over by the whole thing…. all standard stuff for a music awards ceremony. At this time least no-one lost it completely, and no-one decided to protest about an award halfway through the winner’s acceptance speech.
