UK economic recovery feeble in first quarter British confectionery group Cadbury saw its sales rise seven percent in the third-quarter.
That was better than even the optimistic predictions, and Cadbury also unexpectedly increased both its sales and margin growth targets for this year. The strong results temporarily pushed its shares above the level of a takeover bid from US rival Kraft.
