Fantastic Mr Fox London premiere

Fantastic Mr Fox, as everyone knows by now, is an animated film version of Roald Dahl’s classic children’s book about a fox and farmer in conflict. The film, directed by Wes Anderson, stars the voices of Bill Murray, George Clooney, Meryl Streep and Owen Wilson. The world premiere was held in London as part of the London Film Festival.

The usual dissenting voices are saying that parts of the film are too slow, or unnecessary, but producers are unlikely to be biting their nails as the film is expected to top the charts as soon as it is on general release, which in the UK will be 23 October and the USA will be 25 November.
