Angrajazz, the international jazz festival which is held annually in the Azores, this year welcomed Charles Lloyd into the spotlight. Lyoyd was born in 1938 but says that he’s still looking for “that magic sound” and that the older he gets the less he feels he knows…

The audience however, obviously felt differently and gave him an enthusiastic welcome.

Twice Grammy-nominated singer Jane Monheit also appeared at the festival.
