The Swiss lakeside canton of Neuchâtel has a long history of accepting people of different cultural backgrounds into its society.
Almost a quarter of its 170,000 residents are from other countries.
The canton is now taking part in a project called ‘Intercultural Cities’, organised by the Council of Europe and the European Commission, to exchange ideas and policies on how to deal positively with migrant integration.
