Trio scoop Nobel Medicine Prize Three US researchers, Elizabeth Blackburn, Carol Greider and Jack Szostack, have won the 2009 Nobel Prize for medicine for their discovery of how chromosomes are copied and protected by the body.
The work has led to a greater understanding of human aging, cancer and stem cells.
