Gareth Pugh’s pret-a-porter collection, shown in Paris was a shade lighter than his usual work. It was entirely grey in fact. The weird head-dresses, made of everything and the kitchen sink, including feathers and spikes were, we hope intended as merely set dressing rather than actual wardrobe suggestions.

Fatima Lopes, on the other hand, was bursting with enthusiasm about her new collection which she said was futuristic and 50s, happy, positive and filled with hope and beauty. It was called Air, she said, like Fresh Air.More about: ,
