Japan’s jobless figures fall

Japan’s unemployment rate has fallen unexpectedly and household spending is on the increase.

Economists are unclear if the positive figures can be maintained as the government reduces stimulus spending. The number of jobless fell to 5.5 percent despite predictions than unemployment would rise.More about: ,
