Unemployment in the Euro Zone has risen to its highest level in more than 10 years, adding to fears that the economic recovery is likely to be slow.
The number of new claimants in the 16 nation bloc climbed by 165,000 from July and stands at over 15 million.
Eurostat say that since August 2008 3.2 million people have been made unemployed.
