Hard on the heels of Gerard Butler in Gamer, and Sam Worthington in Avatar comes Bruce Willis in Surrogates – a sci-fi thriller-yarn about living in VR as opposed to RL. (Virtual reality as opposed to real life.)

Dress it whichever way you like, VR means you get to act like a kid without having to face the consequences – obviously a potent fantasy and fertile ground for Hollywood Grey-Suits searching for a block-buster script.
