Inspired by the children’s book, “Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs” is about a boy who wants to be an inventor when he grows up – and his discovery that he can turn water into food.

Directed by Phil Lord and Chris Miller, the animation was voiced by Bill Hader in the lead role of Young Flint and Anna Faris as the weather girl. Other voices included Andy Samberg, Mr T Bruce Campbell, James Caan, Neil Patrick Harris, Benjamin Bratt and Al Roker. Reviewers have greeted the film with a certain enthusiasm, noting that the pace is fast and that the sight of food raining from the sky is bound to amuse anyone under nine.
