Rome sees a rise in gay attacks

One of Rome’s favourite gay night spots has been attacked for the second time in less than a month.

The entrance to the Qube club in the Italian capital was torched in the early hours of Saturday morning after being hit by a Molotov cocktail. The city has recently seen a surge in attacks against popular gay venues and Rome’s mayor has ordered more security camera’s to help tackle the problem Earlier this month, hundred’s of people rallied next to the city’s landmark Colosseum calling for greater tolerance and an end to homophobic assaults against homosexuals.More about: ,
