Spiders have been striking irrational fear into many of us for centuries and fortunately we don’t have to bear the sight of their pre-historic ancestors. But for those of us curious to know what ancient arachnids looked like, the good news is we now can. Researchers at Imperial College London have produced 3D computer images of spider-like creepy crawlies that span their webs around 300 million years ago.
