Art attack in Avignon Celebrated French photographer Willy Ronis has died at the age of 99.
The award-winning artist who began taking pictures professionally in 1936 was a leading figure in the humanist school of photography. His work reflects the ordinary lives of French people in the post-war years, focussing heavily on human relationships and environments.
