Weak growth pressures UK government New car sales in Britain rose for a second month running in August.
The figures seem to show the government’s scrappage scheme known in the UK as “cash for bangers” lured buyers into showrooms. Sales rose by six percent compared with August last year following July’s rise of 2.4 percent.
