Air France to cut more staff

Air France has launched a voluntary redundancy scheme to eliminate 1,500 jobs to reduce costs.

Negotiations are now underway with the unions. The carrier said it will need fewer staff as it is planning to slash its passenger capacity by five percent because of reduced demand and cargo capacity will be cut by 15 percent because of the slump in world trade.More about: ,
