Family and friends of Michael Jackson are preparing to say their final farewell to the iconic star.
He will be laid to rest alongside other famous names in a private ceremony in Los Angeles in the coming hours. Only his neareast and dearest will be allowed into the Forest Lawn Memorial Park as his remains are interred in a mausoleum. The funeral comes 10 weeks after Jackson’s death from cardiac arrest brought on by a cocktail of prescription drugs. His personal doctor is facing possible prosecution on manslaughter charges. The sombre gathering will be in stark contrast to the mass outpouring of grief from his fans in the televised public memorial in July.
