Catwalks Exhibition in Dusseldorf

The Catwalks Exhibition at the NRW Forum in Dusseldorf celebrates the most famous catwalk and fashion shows from the past 30 years.

Organiser Werner Lippert says that he thinks that the fashion show is THE art form of the 21st century. According to him, combining music, fashion, performance, theatre and video, it defines the 21st century. Visitors to the exhibition take to the catwalk themselves and the idea is that they can experience something of a fashion show from the model’s point of view. Because of this push chairs are not allowed and disabled access is limited. The exhibition runs until the 1st of November.
