There are unconfirmed reports that at least 8 Dutch tourists have been killed in a bus accident near Barcelona, in Spain.

Dutch tour operator, Sundio Group, said 42 people were also injured in the crash, which happened shortly before midnight on Thursday night. Local police and fire service officials estimate six people died. The bus reportedly shot off the road while exiting a highway at San Pol de Mar and tipped over. It collided with another car in its path, whose driver was also injured, but not seriously. The coach was carrying 65 Dutch passengers, who’d been visiting Barcelona. The Spanish driver and a guide had been taking them on an excursion. Police said alcohol blood tests on the bus driver were negative.More about: ,
