Paris holds anti-Iran demo

In Paris, a crowd of about two hundred demonstrators gathered near the Eiffel tower, holding placards carrying images of those detained or dead. ‘‘There are some young people who’ve demonstrated, who wanted to defend their rights and they have been massacred,’‘ one protesters said. Rallies against Iran’s clampdown on opposition activists also took place in dozens of other cities including Moscow, Tokyo and Manilla.
