These days, “green” energy is all the rage. But researchers in the UK are getting excited about the prospect of what might be described as “yellow energy.” It involves turning banana leftovers into a sustainable fuel source. The simple, low-budget idea is the pet project of a Nottingham University student who was inspired during a visit to Africa.
