Twin bomb attacks in the Indonesian capital Jakarta has killed at least 6 people and dozens injured.
Explosions rocked the Ritz Carlton and the Marriott hotels in the downtown area.
Rescuers say at least 4 of the dead were foreigners.
Until now Indonesia had enjoyed a period of calm in recent years.
But the Marriott was badly damaged by a car bomb attack in 2003 that killed 12 people.
That coincided with a period when Muslim militants carried out numerous attacks, including bombings in Bali in 2002 that killed more than 200.
Many Islamic militants, inspired by the extremist group Jema Islamia – have since been
arrested.
